You can enjoy your leather goods for years if you take good care of it.
CLEANING
For small scratches, try rubbing it gently with a clean fingertip (not the nails!). The natural oils in your skin should remove most small scratches. For dirt, grime or surface residue, use a soft, damp (not wet) cloth. Gently rub - not scrub. For a deeper clean, we suggest taking them to a professional leather cleaner. If you wish to do it yourself, always test in a hidden area to ensure the cleaner is compatible with the leather. Follow the instructions as stated on the cleaner.
MAINTENANCE
To preserve your leather and keep it looking supple; use a wax-free leather conditioner. As always, test the conditioner in a hidden area with a soft, clean cloth to ensure its compatibility with the leather. Follow the instructions of your leather care product.
STORAGE
Remember that leather is a natural material and should be stored in a breathable bag, not plastic, to prevent the growth of mildew and bacteria. While it is wise to give it a buff of your favorite leather cleaner before you store it in its dustbag (where provided) and box when not in use, it is best to take it out once in a while and give it a good run. Remember, leather is skin and it still needs air to “breathe”. We think that all the marks that your item will bear throughout its use are signs of love and give your item its own unique personality.
